Part 12 of the series in I Corinthians.  In this section Paul talks about sexual morality and explains why sexual sin is such a big deal.  As always, he directs us back to the cross as the ultimate reason for holy living.

Part 11 of the series in I Corinthians.  Paul speaks about principles concerning church discipline, court cases between believers and the change God has made in our lives through Christ.  Another longer than usual episode!

Part 6 of the series in I Corinthians.  Paul confronts head-on the foolishness of division in the church into factions following different leaders by emphasising that leaders are only servants of God and it is He who builds His church.

Part 5 of the series in I Corinthians.  In this section Paul contineus to speak about God's wisdom and declares that the apostles' message was revealed to them by the Spirit of God and must be received with the help of the same Spirit.  I got carried away with this one, so it's 30 minutes rather than the usual 20 - forgive me!

Part 4 of the series in I Corinthians.  Paul speaks about his own weakness and the focus of his message - only on Christ and Him crucified.  Where is our faith resting?  In our own abilities and programmes or in God's power?

I Corinthians 1 v19 to 31

Part 3 of the series in I Corinthians.  In this section Paul speaks about the weakness of the gospel compared with the expectations of Jewish and Gentile cultures and the power of the cross.  He calls the Corinthians to boast only in the LOrd.

I Corinthians 1 v18

Part 2 of the series in I Corinthians.  Got carried away on this one - spent 20 mins on one verse!  Still it's an important principle - the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but the power of God to those who are being saved.  How come the cross drops out of our spirituality so often?
